Below is info on the basis and legal authority for COOPERATIVE Purchasing in Minnesota. Information and basis for the Service Cooperative and the MN State Contract purchasing Authority is contained and described. Also attached are some FAQ’s and membership forms for both contracts. There is no fee to join. Access is limited to Schools, County, City and State Governments as well as some non-profits. Membership grants access to many different contracts that cover a wide range of products and services. Using these contracts helps keep costs low because they are competitively bid, but also all bid processes are in compliance with auditing requirements. Using these contracts gives extended warranties and they are backed by the State Attorney General. Links to more information are also included. |
